When and why did you start training for fighting? I was always into traditional martial arts and wanted to take the next step into full contact fighting. I never have liked violence but I love the competition aspect of the sport. After I tried my first fight I was hooked and have been competing ever since.

 

What ranks and titles have you held? Former ICE Light Heavy Weight Champion. Former XFO Light Heavy Weight Champion.

 

Do you have any heroes? When I was younger I had the typical Hulk Hogan and the Incredible Hulk as heroes, but as I’ve grown older I started looking up to my parents and what sacrifices they made so that my brother and I could have a good childhood. They still support me in everything that I do today. 

 

What is your favorite technique?  Hands and angling. 

 

What does it mean for you to fight in the WEC? I have always wanted to fight at the top level and compete against some of the top fighters. Fighting in the WEC is giving me that chance. I get to live my dream.

 

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? University of Cincinnati, Computer Engineering

 

What was your job before you started fighting? Business Manger/Part Owner of a Stainless Steel Medical Manufacturing Company that produced O.R. equipment.
